Hi, my name is Trixie and I'm a 4 year old Boxer girl. I was found in the Katy area just roaming around, lost as could be. This very nice lady took me into her home until I came to boxer rescue.
I am house trained, crate trained, and we are doing some leash work to get me brushed up. My foster family is also teaching me commands. I do not counter surf or jump on people. I can be shy at first, my life before rescue must not have included much love as I don't know what cuddling is about or understand yet that toys can be great fun. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore being loved and cuddled, but I may not be the one to initiate it.
Sometimes I find interacting with other dogs confusing, I must have been an only dog in my former life. I try very hard to please because not doing so makes me sad. My new life holds the promise of good things and learning what it is to be a real family member.
