Megan came to HBR from a backyard breeder after suffering a vicious attack by another female boxer on the premises. She was refusing food, lethargic and had several serious puncture wounds. When medical care was initiated it included IV fluids, wound drains, dressings, and observation of swelling in her limbs caused by widespread trauma to the soft tissue of her body. After a few days, her care expanded to the use of hydrotherapy in an attempt to regain range of motion and reduce tissue swelling.
