Hi my name is LIAHM, and my story is a sad one..... I like so many other dogs was abandoned by the very people I trusted and loved and thought I would spend my entire life with. Who knew some people don’t look at their fur-kids as “forever Family”? Just when I was about to lose all faith in the human race, a kind lady found me roaming her neighborhood and took me in. She called Houston Boxer Rescue. Next thing I knew I was at the vet being showered with hugs and kisses.... and shots... but that’s ok I’m told they will keep me healthy. The vet did discover I have heart worms, but I’m told that’s an easy fix and with time I will be good as new. I was put in a foster home and life is starting to look up for me. I no longer go to sleep wet, cold, and starving instead I have a place of my own with soft warm bed and blanket. My foster mom says for a 2 1/2-year-old boxer boy I’m very, very well behaved. I’m crate trained, house trained, and I know some commands I haven’t chewed anything up and I do my very best to listen and be a good boy. I have also been around handicap people with wheelchairs and scooters. While some dogs may have been scared of those things, they don’t bother me at all! My foster mom also said I have a very mellow personality and that I would be good with small children as well as older ones. So if you think you’d like to help my story have a fur-real “happy ever after” ending, then go to our website and fill out an adoption application and set up a time to come and meet me I promise you won’t be disappointed..... I mean come on just look at my face and those eyes! I can also promise you lots of sloppy boxer kisses and snuggle time on the couch as well as long walks or a game of fetch. Hope to hear from you soon!
