Well hello! I’m Moxie. I’m a 2-3 year old, fawn, female, healthy, gorgeous gal, who is looking for my forever soulmate or family. I’m cute, super energetic, playful, loving, and have the most awesome wiggle butt you will ever see! I’m also super smart and know lots of things. I know to only go potty outside, I know how to sleep in my crate, I walk well on a leash, and at this point I pretty much consider myself a professional snuggler. (In fact I’ll even sit on your lap if you let me.) 

When I love, I love with my whole heart and soul. Unfortunately not everyone I have given my heart to has been nice and they have done some mean things to me. Not only has this made it hard for me to live with other dogs (I prefer to live as an only dog or with a brother only), but it makes me a little fearful sometimes when I meet new people. If I’m at home, I may go run into my crate and hide (my crate is my safe zone), but if I’m out in public I might bark and hide behind someone I know and trust. After a few minutes (once I know I’m safe) I start to relax and get excited. At this point I usually start wagging my nub, which means I want to be petted. Then once you start petting me I will start bending myself in half with excitement. This will make you laugh and then pet me more. In return I will dance and hop around with happiness and glee. This will continue until either you stop petting me or I flop over in hopes of getting a belly rub. Because I mean really, who doesn’t love belly rubs? 

My ideal person or family would make me their only pup or only give me a fur brother. They will spoil me with lots of love and they would play with me daily, take me for walks, and snuggle with me all the time. We would play with toys together and if there are kids around I will be their best friend and protector! So what do you say? Am I the gal for you?
