Hi everyone! My name is Kailia, and I am the newest wonderful boxer available from the great folks at Houston Boxer Rescue! I came here via just going for a walk. Well, that's the short story...fact is I was wandering on the streets and found this really friendly human and his dog in walking in a park. They looked pretty interesting to me so I decided, what the heck, I decided to follow them! And guess what, they let me get in their car and come back to their home with them! Since no one seemed to care about finding me, here I am searching for my perfect home. About me, I am about 2 years old and in pretty good shape except for one minor detail. I do have those pesky heartworms, but I am told those are easily taken care of and the wonderful people here at HBR are going to take care of that! Now, remember I told you about the human and his dog? Well, it turns out, I love playing with him! We play with toys, ropes and really get along well. I may have been wandering the streets, but that does not stop me from having good manners. I am perfectly house trained (not one accident in the house). I also walk really well on a leash. I will stay right by your side! Also, when I go for walks, if I see little humans, I love to go up to them and let them love on me! I've been told that I can be a bit of a velcro dog, but that's not a bad thing, right?! I am still young and love to play, but I also am very sweet and love to stay close to the people at my foster home. Overall, I am just a sweet girl, looking for a great furever home. Oh yeah, I have been told I have an impressive wiggle butt as well! I must admit my nub can go pretty fast when I am excited! What more could you ask for in your new best friend?
