Cassius is 12 weeks old. He is a puppy in training. He is a sweetheart, we've gotten over most of his issues. It is believed that he was taken from his litter mates too early and left outside, before he was surrendered at 8 weeks old. We are working on kennel training and house training. He will go in his kennel if instructed but doesn't like to be left in there if he can see you. After about 10 minutes of barking that he is not happy to be in there he settles down for bed easily. He can hold his bladder for up to 5 hours, so expect a 2-3 am wake up, because he can not stand to be in the kennel with his own pee. House training we let him out every 45 minutes to an hour. He will not go outside without you, so don't expect to just let him out for a few minutes while you take care of something.  This is the puppy life. He has mastered the art of getting on our foot stool. He loves to be cuddled. But of course he loves to play. He tries to take on the big boys in our house, one just wants to cuddle him, the other loves to play tug with him and he absolutely loves to be swung around with the rope. He chases our girl all over the yard and they both love it.  He definitely has a personality and tries to be dominant, he will need someone with experience and ability to curb his dominance. He loves to sit and watch what you are doing, so long as you don't go out of his sight, then he must follow. Because of his previous conditions we believe he has a small case of separation anxiety. He's a champ in the bath, but drying off not so much he would rather try to eat your fingers, but thats the epitome of a puppy. Cuddles one minute and chewing on things the next, and believe me when I say he will find anything and everything that you don't want him to chew on. We own so many toys and his favorite is the baby kong or a stuffy.  He is absolutely cute and he knows it.
