Mitchum, a heartworm-positive dog, is well-versed in house and crate training protocols. His primary objective is to be in close physical proximity to his human caregivers. Mitchum has a deep-seated love for being petted and will frequently exhibit behaviors designed to elicit attention, such as obstructing his owner's ability to tie their shoes. He interacts harmoniously with a boxer, although he can become somewhat pushy in his pursuit of attention when his foster dad is petting the other dog. Mitchum derives pleasure from outdoor activities, but his enjoyment is significantly enhanced when his owner is present. He exhibits good behavior, with the sole exception of a propensity for counter surfing. Furthermore, it is important to note that, despite being a white boxer, Mitchum is capable of hearing, although he can be obstinate and selectively attentive on occasion. Overall, Mitchum is an unusually laid-back boxer who likes children and is estimated to be approximately three years old.
