I was found wandering the streets of Houston, so I was taken into a shelter. Lucky for me, the folks at Houston Boxer Rescue came to get me and now I am on my way to a brand new life.
My name Lena means sophsticated in German. I am one sophisticated little girl given that I am on the regal side. I am a bit shy when I first people and it takes me a bit to warm up, yet I have charmed my way into my new foster home!
In keeping with my name, I am mellow, sweet, lovely, and obedient! I don't get on furniture, I am a perfect lady in the car sometimes not moving from my window perch in two hours! I am an angel on the leash, I don't tug at all, and I love to give kisses and get belly rubs!
I am crate trained and mostly house trained. There seems to be minor difficulty recognizing my 'cues'. After all, I am a 'lady' and don't want to advertise! How uncouth! I adore people of all shapes and sizes.
I know how to 'sit' and 'shake', but prefer to shake with both paws so I can ease up for you to rub my tummy! Unlike my name, my foster Mom says I have the "appetite of an NFL linebacker" and love edible chew bones, LOL! Maybe there were some days without meals in my history? But, I get along with the resident boxer and kittens here, so possibly you can over look my eating habits!?

Our basic transport fee is $300 for boxers traveling outside of Texas to their new homes in predetermined destinations(East Coast) using a trusted transport company. The transport is based on location and travel time. Note: Transport is not available within Texas or Louisiana.
